i have a change of plan there will be no more .5 chapters I feel the final battle will only be in 2 parts and also 2 chapters of him trying to return and an epilogue also one or two more chapters leading up to the final battle

So I reread this chapter because I got up early today and you had a moment of suspense pretty early on but I feel you didn't capitalize on it. And you need more structure to your writing. I like The Hero's Journey as a style personally. And your ending was too cute. I want more suspense.
