Munkidori TWM 095 goes past Poltchageist TWM 020

Hello,
During a recent game of mine, an opponent used their Munkidori's Adrena-Brain ability to move damage counters to my benched Poltchageist. However, Poltchageist's Storehouse Hideaway ability reads:
« As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, prevent all damage from and effects of attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon done to this Pokémon. »
As per my understanding, my opponent's Munkidori shouldn't have been able to move counters over my benched Poltchageist.
If it is not the case and I misunderstood the rules, please pardon me. If, however, it is indeed a bug, I will kindly request that you fix it at your earliest convenience.
Have any other players experienced a similar situation with Munkidori TWM095?
