Terapagos ex deck bug - Area Zero Underdepths onto bench and whole screen freeze

Playing another player, both of us seemed to be using the Terapagos ex deck.

Roughly mid-game somehow when I played a Pokémon onto my bench the screen froze, and later it refreshed showing the Area Zero Underdepths stadium card on my bench (previously in my hand). I couldn’t attach energy cards to it, and couldn’t use some other cards in my hand.
I believe an opponent’s turn passed, and on my next turn I tried playing Town Store and the screen just froze in a dimmed state with the card halfway between being played. I couldn’t press any buttons, not even pause. The background between both sides of the board was still moving and would register my touches, but no buttons would register.
The countdown timer started and went down to zero, before waiting some time and then repeating this three times, before I eventually closed the app.

Unfortunately couldn’t export the game log.
