Philippine (PH) Server is so bad.

I live in the Philippines and I have been playing the game for about 3 days now. One thing that I always notice though is the rampant connectivity issues with the server even though my wifi is perfectly fine (running with 350 mbps). It's just frustrating to lose battles and to decrease my rank because of something that isn't entirely my fault? Can someone give me insights on this? Is the the SEA (South East Asia) server just bad? Or just the PH servers in general?
Any tips on what I can do to decrease sudden disconnections - especially mid game? Thanks!
