personally i would not say someone is incorrect to disagree with me about an opinion, though sometimes people disagree with facts because they don't like them, and i have 3 spam flags for some well thought out messages that are not spam but it doesn't make me feel like i was wrong for posting them

I have dozens of flags, most of them accrued from posting in the TCG Live forum. I would challenge someone to point to a post in which I actually broke a rule, because I don't believe such a post exists.
People seem to treat it as a down vote button rather than a serious report of rule breaking. The mods do not seem to visibly respond to posts with multiple flags, so in essence that is the only function it serves.
Personally I would prefer that we didn't have forum points, ranks or post counts because it encourages spam posts and conformity while hindering any real conversation with opposing viewpoints. You should be judged by the quality of your posts and contributions alone, not how many posts and internet points you have or how agreeable you are.
But if we must have the system, it should at least be enforced evenly. Remove false flags where they are clearly not applicable and punish frequent abusers of the system.

I also got Disagrees incorrectly (but not Flags) in my posts (including questions). Those reactions annoyed me.

People should be allowed to disagree. That's fine. We don't want a group think hivemind. Everyone should feel free to speak their mind and express their honest opinion. That includes using the disagree emote.
Flagging is meant to highlight rules violations. That is completely different to simply disagreeing. One is an opinion, the other is an accusation of wrongdoing.
