Fezandipiti ex Cruel Arrow - Not allowed to select Pokemon to attack
I tried to use cruel arrow and when I attempted to select a benched Pokemon to apply damage to, it just enlarged the card. All options just enlarged the card when selected, and the done box was left greyed out, causing my turn to run out of time. To my knowledge, there were no Pokemon on the bench that prevented damage to benched Pokemon. Has this happened to anybody else? This contributed greatly to a loss

Maybe your opponent has a Manaphy (Brilliant Stars 41/172) on their Bench. Its "Wave Veil" Ability prevent all damage done to your opponent's Benched Pokémon from your attacks (but not any other effects of attacks).

I wish there was a battle log to verify.. I am aware of that card and did not recall it being present. If this doesn't happen to anybody else, then it must have been some stipulation. Probably a skill issue lol. Still wish it would either not allow me to make the move or allow me to select done before running out of time.

With Manaphy BRS in play, it is still possible to target Benched Pokémon, but the damage is then prevented.
