Possible bug?

I wonder if Toedscruel's "Slime Mold Colony" ability is bugged? I had it in play against a dark deck that used Darkrai V and Roaring Moon with the Dark Patch trainer card. That trainer was still working for them and it should not, if I am reading it correctly. I tried to find the bug report but this is the closest I could find. Thanks!

    Toedscruel's "Slime Mold Colony" Ability only prevents the effects of your opponents cards in discard from going to hand using Trainers and Abilities from Pokemon.

    "Dark Patch" doesn't put any card in your opponent hand, the energy goes directly to the Pokémon... so it's not a bug.

    I notice my wording wasn't very good lol but I think you got the idea about going to the Pokémon not the same as goong to the hand. If only there was an edit post option...
