It has also possibly transported characters from different times (that are probably in different worlds) (examples: Rose/Oleana in the Galar Villain arc, they were from before Rose summoned Eternatus, and Red/Blue are in their HGSS/BW2 outfits and ages while characters from Alola exist with their ages during the Alola games, etc.).

It would be very likely that hoopa is integrated.

I love volcanion too and thought he was cool so I wouldn’t be against that

I mean I’ll take a hoopa if it’s in the game. The movie was absurd with hoopa unbound controlling the creation trio but I still like the movie. I like the Koko:Secrets of the Jungle more as it continues from the Marshadow Movie timeline (and I love marshadow.)
I do think hoopa is a bit ugly though, but it’s still cool.

Hoopa could be an excuse to bring Hoenn Pokemon (especially the legendaries) to Lumiose. After all, some of them have their own Mega Evolutions.

Hoopa is my favourite mythical. I hope Hoopa appears in this game at least, it's literally Kalos though so it's a guaranteed it will appear. I hope it's involved in the story too.

Might be a possibility with Hoopa's bottle being stolen by thieves in an arabian desert and wound up being set loose by art thieves in Kalos.
