How does it works with the ranks on the forum?
i have rank 3, but a few days ago it’s the same rank as @clasingla. But @clasingla posted more than 1000 comments, so i wonder how it works. Also, @Resilient30 has rank 2, but is longer on the forum than me. Can anyone tell me how it works?

I think when someone likes your comment it effects your rank

likes and agrees increase points then their are badges which give certain amount of points I don’t know much about ranks though I know everyone starts at rank 1 when you get 50 points your rank 2 100 points rank 3 500 points rank 4 no one has gotten above that though

you can go to your profile and it will so your points in analytics

When someone likes your post, you get points. When someone dislikes a post, you lose points.
If you get reported (flagged) you get a major decrease in points (i think)
You also get points for agrees and LOLs but dont get points for disagrees.

@TechHog has three stars because they get a lot of flags (I just checked, they have over 400 of each kind. Nearly 900 in total). If they didn't get flagged so much they'd probably be the first person to unlock five stars though.
Also fun fact I was the first person here to unlock four stars (I heard that @TechHog used to have four stars before they got reported so much but I'm not sure since I couldn't see it myself as I joined in the middle of August).
