Why can’t I play my Switchcart?

Hello. I recently started playing so not 100% sure of all the rules.

But I wanted to know why I couldn’t play my Switch cart.

Because I can’t attach images to this post I’ll describe what happened.


Turn 6 - my turn

  1. I picked up a card and drew Kirlia
  2. Gholdengo benched used Coin Bonus ability
  3. Gholdengo active used Coin Bonus ability
  4. I attached a basic Metal energy to Gholdengo benched

Now looking at my hand, I am still able to play Tulip, Capturing Aroma, Superior Energy.

However, my Switch Cart is unable to be played I couldn’t drag it to the board and it’s not highlighted in a blue border with the arrow on top of the card to indicate that it’s playable.


Can anyone explain?
