What do you think the connected area to Paldea is?

People originally thought that it was going to be in the DLC but it wasn't.

My theory is that it's a mini area that we will get to explore sometime later this year, likely with a new Pokemon to discover

    A relic of Paldea's design as Pokémon Spain. In the real world it would be France, but in Pokémon I don't believe it is anything at all. It is nice to imagine it might be Kalos, though.

    It's Kalos guys, it's Kalos, we're going to Kalos during the DLC, Kalos, the best region, will get something other than its two debut games!

    (It got something better at least)

    it's just Kalos, and it's also theorized that AZ's weapon created the Great Crater and Area Zero.

    @Ravenclawed1234 How would the Ultimate Weapon, which was made about 3,000 years prior to modern day, create the Great Crater of Paldea, which is likely about a million years old?

    @puplover1118 Something, something, time distortion.

    Or, maybe the weapon is older than we think. It was not built during the war, but restored.

    @TheJeffers We know that the Ultimate Weapon has to be about 3,000 years old because AZ created it in order to revive his Floette before using it to end the war, which caused Floette to leave him for around 3,000 years until they reunited at the end of X and Y.

    I am, however, more receptive to the idea of time distortion since we know that Terapagos has the ability to warp space and time.

    We know AZ built the version we saw in XY, yes. Assuming everyone in the game knows/is telling the truth about it.

    Do we know that it is the first, or even the most powerful version of that weapon?

    Could it have been a design from the past that AZ reproduced? Or perhaps he even found remnants of an older machine and reconstructed it?
