Suggestions
Now then Pokemon Live is pretty smooth ignoring the fact that bundles of codes don't work and many other small bugs exist.
But there are some pretty big problems that aren't bugs, they are unintentional features. And I have some suggestions for fixing these problems.
- Meta Softlocking: You know how annoying it's annoying to play the same overpowered and unbalanced meta; time and time again? I sure don't want to wait until the next patch or end of season for it to be banned, there should simply be an option at the start of a match for both players to ban 1-2 cards for that specific match. Well then what happens if a card your opponent bans is in your deck? You gotta pick a different deck. This would allow to make it more balanced for beginners and casuals who don't have all those godly cards and decks to choose from.
- Currency Exchange: Currency is also another very big problem, as for beginners or casuals they will not have much starting currency to work with which can make a big problem for grinding as Live currently has one of the slowest grinding paces allowed I've ever seen. So my suggestion for this problem is to add a feature to convert some of your excess currency into a different from of Pokemon Live Currency. Up to devs for what requirements to exchange the system would require. Mainly because why are we grinding coins when we can't use them once we buy all the coin items?
- Nomination Banning: Now when every patch comes out, some cards are unbanned and others banned. But sometimes cards are banned for reasons that seem pretty stupid. Now of course some are unbalanced or bugged but there should be the exact reason they were banned. And I also feel like that the community does get a choice in what changes. So I am suggesting that at the end of every Pokemon Live Season players will get a choice to nominate 3 cards for banning the next season. The most nominated card will be banned by reason of Community Choice. While the other two can be discussed as to why they should be banned and what actions can be taken to balance them. Because I see a lot of videos about unbalanced cards that are researched extremely well, yet when the patches come around it's cards that are perfectly normal that are getting banned and not cards that are unbalanced that are getting banned.

That first suggestion doesn't make sense for a ranked ladder, and the third one is a terrible idea that misses the fundamental point of the game. It's meant to mirror the real life game and formats. It can't have a separate banlist. Any ban message you've seen as been the result of a bug. There are no other reasons. No cards have been banned from any format since long before Live was even announced.
I suggest focusing on the casual ladder since you seem to prioritize casual play.

Well I know I'm tired of being stuck playing the jank overpowered decks that forsure there needs to be a way better matchmaking algorithm. And hands down I want to be able to communicate better to maybe learn alittle more and I want be able to engage abit more with the person instead of a tiny handful of emotes that seem super sarcastic and not really authentic. maybe they could actually set up some rematch system somehow... I feel like it's wishful thinking but this game is Hella dull with out any type of real interaction with people it's too blahhhhhhh

Hello, this isn’t exactly a suggestion, but I couldn’t figure out if there is a way to directly contact people here. @TSchaap88, I relate to being stuck playing the jank overpowered decks and I try to make my own, I’m fairly new but wondering if we can duel on tcg live?
