You should have read the FAQ. Yes, they are gone and you got crystals as compensation. The reason is that there's no pack inventory in this game.1 -

@pokejosie421 packs are converted into crystals when you transfer, you do not have a pack collection in this game, every pack you obtain opens automatically. As for the older cards, make sure to use …1 -
