Also this has nothing to do with Live, and TPC (let alone TPCi) has no control over Game Freak. Quite the opposite.2 -

Did your opponent play something like a Canceling Cologne to turn off your Jirachi's ability? That is the only solution I can think of where this would work, otherwise it should be a bug.3 -
