Mmmmmm..... I used to have a few different favorites like moose tracks or triple chocolate or that candy cane peppermint one only available in the winter... but lately, I'd really just like a mint chocolate chip, chocolate, vanilla, or that cashew milk caramel chocolate mmmmm

Would you laugh if I said the only ice cream I've eaten in the past two years was homemade organic vanilla or chocolate ice cream? Really easy to make too. 😋😋😋

Easy peasy.... It also gives you a work out 😉.

• One gallon ziplock bag
• One quart ziplock bag
• 3 cups Ice (not to be consumed)
• 1/2 cup Half & half
• 1 TBSP Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract (or other flavoring)
• Rock Salt (they say 1/3 cup)

First off I usually double the milk/half&half, vanilla &sugar to make more. You can experiment with other flavors too. It's fun!

1. Fill the smaller bag with the milk/half&half, sugar, and vanilla. Squeeze out as much air as possible & seal it well. Squish the bag full of ingredients until all are combined. Set aside.
2. Fill the bigger bag with crushed ice (or regular if you don't have crushed ice) until about half full. Add the rock salt (or regular salt if you don't have it). THEN add/place the smaller bag inside the larger one. Seal the big bag, again squeezing out as much air as possible before sealing it.
3. Exercise time!!! Shake or toss the bag for 10-15 minutes or until the ice cream has thickened.
4. Once ice cream has thickened open the larger bag to remove the smaller bag of ice cream. Wah lah! Ice cream!

A couple suggestions... Wrap the big bag in a towel before you start shaking it or your fingers get cold. I've also used the same recipe but instead of bags, I'd throw the mixture in a small blender thingy (it has a lid) then put it in the freezer, checking on it every thirty minutes and reblending it... Or just leave it be and shake it every hour or so. Mmmmmm now I'd like to make some!

Honestly @fineasmatei , I've only ever used sea salt or table salt because I don't have rock salt, whatever that is, lol. Ummm i think the salt just helps the ice stay colder? Idk if that makes sense?

Oops, my bad, I DO know what rock salt is.... And YES!! Himalayan Rock Salt (the pink stuff) is my absolute favorite type of salt because of the flavor (I like salt ,😋). But I've never used it for ice cream making.

Ummmmmm pink one is more expensive. Ask your Mom first. You don't actually eat the salt. It's for the ice bag.

I won't lash out but I'm not sitting by silently if there is disrespect to LGBTQ+. You know, when I said "gender rights" I was referencing women, not trans. Volt is the one that brought up trans (maybe not by directly saying it but heavily implied). And me abd him has fought over LGBTQ+ in the past. This comment was in response to mine and he immediately said "actually, don't respond. I don't want conflict." I think he thought I wouldn't say anything because every time it happens in the past I say let's drop it because I don't want to fight. No, if he wanted to avoid conflict he would have removed that part of the comment before posting it! (Dang, I'm getting heated thinking of it...) But Monsta seemed like he was trying to be nice! Granted, he was still saying that trans should just accept their original gender, which is wrong, but I don't think he was trying to be rude about it. Sigh I always try to stay away from topics of heavy conflict, but this happened and I'm not just letting go anymore!

Let me ask you something, though: Does God mess up? It is said that he makes everything perfectly, and your life is already planned. My goodness, I remember originally thinking you, Hades, were either last years of college or already starting out in the world when I first met you. But the compassion and good advice you shared with those here seemed to me like you were the older brother helping out those who needed someone to hear them.
