Ummm the 85+ flags on my wall I rcvd all of them within a few hours when someone just went through and flagged every single wall post I had at that time. They bullied me, not vice a versa. Nothing was ever done about it. 😕

That means so did Unite's daily reset. It is now an hour earlier than before for me which means I plan to be in-game for fun times (casuals and quicks with friends) an hour AFTER reset.

A few more ranked matches today. Won a few, lost one. I'm now Ultra class 2 and halfway through it. That last match my wifi went kooky on me 😬. Still played my best but with bad lag. I wonder if they had put me on a far away server because the wait time was over 3minutes for that last match. 🤔

If that doesn't convince anyone to get a Switch 2, I don't know what will lol. Gives hope that they'll do Majora's Mask in a similar fashion. Maybe even Twilight Princess and/or Windwaker but MM seems like a foregone conclusion at this point given that MM used the same models as OoT.

And yes, I finally got a bag of semi sweet chocolate chips yesterday. That only helped a little bit. But yeah, I feel like I could easily come off as snarky and possibly start ranting at any moment. Actually.... I'm in the mood for a f1ght. So I'll try my best to suppress that since I don't want to f1ght with anyone here. Lol, I'd be pretty easy to r4ge bait right now. That's not a good thing.

Ummmm... A big part of the "beef" was the sudden announcement of EoS (end of service) for Unite, my primary connection with Pokemon. 💔🥀. (TCG & TCGP are also how I connect to Pokemon). The rest.... Hmmm.... Mostly other stuff but not issues here.

Remember how I said that if someone wins my Daggerheart Battle Royale that id play Unite? Well.. it turns out that no one is going to win. @Hades0918 died first from a Vigoroth. Then @oshoBug went awol and promptly got devoured by a Trapinch. Then @clasingla got snatched by a Skarmory and was taken out of the Arena because Clasingla went on a leave of absence and promptly loses because of that(his character miraculously survives(because I was being nice) but he still loses) and then @Locallywierd went awol and was slain by @PikaCarter2025. That left Pikacarter and @Fôxchild who went back and forth on attacking each other and Pikacarter just would not die(seriously rolled successfully on like 6 Death saves…). Well after surviving death for the nth time, @Fôxchild was put into the Death save routine by Pikacarter. When a character is put into that position, they have three options and one is to risk it all(which Pikacarter has been doing all match), another is to fall unconscious(hence lose but character survives) or go out in a blaze of glory. @Fôxchild chose this option and well... He's going to die but he's taking that stupidly lucky Absol down with him in a twist or fate that is pure karma. When he makes it, both characters are going to die, leaving no one on the arena field and hence no winner. TLDR: I snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. No Unite for me 😇

😂. LOL!! Woooooooow. That is an awesome summary. (Awesome job too @PikaCarter2025). Ah-well, I guess they tried 😁. Still feels like your loss though, @Lonestar85, because UNITE won't be here forever and the last main event where you can earn Unite coins to unlock licenses, holowear, avatar gear, etc. is coming up in ten days. NOW would be the time to download and start a five month journey before it's too late. Hmmmm, don't you want to be able to say you played? Wouldn't that be something alone to make it worth downloading, that you actually played a soon to be retired Pokemon game with all of the ever brought into the game Pokemon? Now's your chance! (Before it's too late. In fact, if you download now, I'll make room for you on my friend's list 😉... And you can always say you downloaded it not because you lost the deal but because you want to experience FOR YOURSELF (not through second hand accounts and videos) this soon to be extinct game (in 5 months). My goodness, 5 months is plenty of time to make it to Masters, I did that and so can you! Hmmmm.... I say shoot for Legends status. Now obtaining THAT would mean you ROCK! 😎)

I'm thinking about keeping a thread for a ranked journey journal... Possibly something like "Ranked Season 41: My Journey through Ultras and Beyond (hopefully)"
Would anyone be interested in reading that? Basically it would log matches, highlights, how many times I see comfey bots and if there were spammers or pouters (no trainer names would ever be mentioned) eventually those Pokemon who get banned, etc.
Hmmmm it would mean putting myself out there for scrutiny......

What's missing, you ask? Where is offline battle mode? We already have it do why not allow us to continue to use it after EoS? Why not add a LAN feature or bluetooth capability so we xan play locally with friends? Why only allow us practice mode?

Offline battle mode would require effort and $$$ from developer in a short timeframe and a commitment from TPC to facilitate that. For Switch owners, that could be Nintendo Online for online multiplayer(if you got enough friends for it) or via local LAN with multiple Switches. For mobile, that's something I'm not too familiar with since I don't do games on a phone.
Just feels like they're closing down shop for good with no intent of bringing it back. Here's your stuff, enjoy your dead game.

What do you mean enough friends? We currently HAVE an offline battle mode 5v5 where you are the only real, the rest whatever you call them... cpus/bots/npcs. Why not continue to allow us to use that and just add in a 1 to 5 multiplayer mode (like in current online version), or cheese, just give us the custom battle mode so we can pick whether we use bots (2 to 9) or reals (1 to 10 people). They already have that for multiple stadiums and you can setup 1v1 all the way up to 5v5 with your choice of number of reals or bots.

🤷 I don't know why honestly. I think it has more to do with the fact that if they permit offline that the game will go on without their involvement and the developer would prefer that to not be the case because we humans will find a way to organize stuff. We always do lol. Can you imagine a tournament?

Hii!! I came to offer my condolences over the recent news about Unite.
It's pretty widely agreed upon that we're officially in the final countdown for Unite.
I KNOW this was yesterday and I should prolly get over it, but I know Unite mattered a lot to both of us so I just kinda came to check in.
I figured maybe over the next few months our little squad could play a couple final rounds together..?
Also, I'm not saying "let's sulk for the next 5 months," but maybe the squad should consider switching MOBA's?
I don't have access to live chat, but if the squad does decide to switch MOBA's, would you mind letting me know here?

You have my empathy too, (that's beyond sympathy), because I feel like we're mourning before the end... But maybe that will help us focus in and seriously have fun and ENJOY these last five months... They'll go by fast, watch out. I like your idea of finding a MOBA… of keeping the squad together, if they want, it'll be a learning curve of course for a new game and sadly it won't be Pokemon (unless they come up with something), but YES!!! I'd definitely like to do so. I'm totally open to suggestions if you find a good one.

I'll still be playing daily though since I still have goals and we have friends there. My legend rank goal is still a real possibility, unless they take away ranked. My goals for gold, blue, and green ribbon status for my Pokemon is still there. Now I'll actually try to earn achievements, instead of just randomly earning them as I go. I want to be able to say I did as much as I could. (Kinda like completing a console game or a pokedex).

I almost jumped in here last night....
While playing my usual nightly matches they flipped the switch on Unite. I couldn't get back to my lobby except through the "play with this team again" button. The "Return to Lobby" had disappeared…
The reason? They wanted us to do an update dur to the End of Service....
I'm mad.
I'm sad.
I'm sure I'll rant soon enough, but atm I'm also numb.

Ah ok, in the tournament, we played against someone with a name very similar to @TheJeffers.... But the location would probably be wrong since you sign up to battle on certain servers. For us, it was the NorthAmerican servers. However you can sign up and play through any server you prefer, someone on our team is not from North America. You just need to be aware there may be lag... Hmmm....

Btw Y, X, and A are the left-c, up-c and right-c buttons. Meaning if they kept things the same control wise, Talking to Navi is X and Z-targeting is ZL. However, B is a new Jump mechanic. Question is how do you attack with your Sword then if that's the case and what is the down-c button. Logic would imply it's the L button because R or ZR is the block button but B was the button for using your Sword and A was the action button on the Old N64. Going to be spending some time practicing in Kokiri Forest and it looks like King Dodongo may not be the pushover it was in N64 with Bomb, Jump Attack, get out of way, repeat two more times and dead lol.

I took a two day, or was it three?, break from ranked matches in Unite. However the season is soon coming to an end ..... I better get back into ranked if I want to level up further (I'm only at Masters x268 or so.... A LOOOOOOOOOONG way to go if I want to reach Legends before the end.)

Welp, a few more matches later and I was up about a hundred points (thank you Blastoise!😎 I definitely need to get you those glasses.) I settled down around 325 by the end of those marches. Game on later or tomorrow.
