Ah, yes. Chess players that are just casual. I, too, love the game but not at all the best player. I mean, I wouldn't say I'm bad but definitely not great. My dad taught me how to play when I was young. Right after teaching me how to play Five Card Draw. But anyways, I was asking because there's an app called "Chess.com". Technically a website but I have found out it has a real app! Me and my Uncle Goat have been playing it lately and west's fun about it is you don't have to immediately counter. You get three days before making your move! So if you're busy you can put the game on hold. I didn't know if you would be interested, but if you are my name in it is, can you guess, Hades0918. If any of you three are interested just let me know and I'll accept an invite! If not that's fine.

Won one, lost one so I'm up a bit. (Funny thing, the first match ultras and one master (not me)... We worked as a team, did good. Second round three masters on my team (not me) and the Masters were the ones out farming leaving me to defend against 3-4 oranges at the goal .. 😕 i would call them but they ignored me, multiple times this happened... They wouldn't even come north for regieleki any of the times... Only the other Ultra (both of us level 1s) would communicate and eventually back me up and me her. It was not a good team. Articuno can only do so much solo 1 vs. 4. Oh well. There's always another match 😁)

Okay, I think I understand. Uuuuuhh... What type of things does this person enjoy? Because if they enjoy card games, get them a deck of cards themed on a franchise they like. If video games or books, get them one of those in their favorite genre. If you don't have much money to get them something, that's okay! You don't have to buy someone something but instead maybe make something. Something like A hand made card can mean a lot!

(I found it funny as well. I remember the time Joey thought @PokeMom244 was an actual mom and wouldn't stop accusing them of being one, so they asked me what I thought. I said they feel pretty young, and unless they are a teen mom I can't see them being one. PM said thank you so I assume I was right, but, shrug) Anyways, for the topic at hand, that feels like a pretty good price range. That's enough to get them about 5 booster packs or maybe a few small boxes. Something I've always enjoyed is the packs where all the cards are up side down. Comes with 20 for about 7 dollars. But those are really only good if you're a connector. If this person is into the battling side, I'd get them one or two of the premade decks. Hope this helped!

I'm sorry @Smellykiki that I haven't been much help. Honestly, I have a hard time finding presents for my family members/relatives too. I usually make most of my gifts unless I can think of something they would really like.
Ummmm what about a starter TCG Battle Deck or a TCG League Battle Deck? Over here you can order them on amazon and get it in two days. There are some relatively inexpensive ones and they come with instructions if they don't know how to play. Or if they already like Pokemon, what about a plushie of their fav? Everyone practically likes a plushie 😁😎

Life happens and certain things triggr me more than others.... I don't want to take out my negativity on everyone here, so I'm not commenting as much as usually would. I need to work on my character but with my current mood, it would probably come across as dark, sarcastic, etc. I thank you for understanding even without knowing the details. I could tell. I wanted to ask about it but I didn't want to be too pushy so I just left it alone. I figured if something happened that was extremely concerning I would ask about it, but I tried to back off. The day I commented this I saw that you were barely online, and when you were you didn't really comment unless for a reason. You said something happened that morning but all was good, so I figured that's what it was. The next day you were a bit more active but not by much and I thought something was wrong but, as I've said before, I didn't want to push. Especially when there was a chance I was wrong. Anyways, I hope things get better, I truly do, and if you ever just need to talk about it I'm all ears. Also, please don't stress about the character thing. There is genuinely no rush and if it's just adding stress them don't focus on it too much. Plus, I've already figured out how I'm using her, which I will do in my next chapter! I hope today goes great and if it doesn't I'd like to hear why not. 🙂

Thank you! I have been saving lucky ice pops for MONTHS and they just reduced the price back to only 100 (the last two outfits were 150... I think?) so YAY! I got to "purchase" that outfit the other day. Only problem is it isn't in pieces so you can't switch hair, or shoes or gloves, but hey, the wings are cool ❄️

I explained the origins of the team but realized I might be unintentionally isolating them. I don't really know how to "become a member" though. It just happened! This brings up other questions.... Do you all think others are mad at us too for 🔥🐉🔥? I thought it started because others were teaming up too, however it seems we're the only ones who have continued on. This is tough. I don't want to hurt others feelings, or intentionally exclude others, I've been a "new kid" many times... So I usually make it a point to include those that seem like a "new kid" (for lack of a better term). However, the team was forged in (mock) battle ( or real battle with words). Hmmmmm.....time to ponder the ramifications of our actions and/or inactions....

I don't think anyone is mad at us. I can't tell if @Evolve8eon@Evolve8eon is just joking around when they make fun of it or if it actually annoys them. Until they say something we'll never know. There were other alliances out there, but they didn't take it as seriously as we did. I've always enjoyed that it is just the three of us. It feels... I don't know... Special? And it wasn't something that was like "Do You wanna be a member? Join today!" It Just happened and is our "thing." However, at the same time it feels rude to decline them. I genuinely never expected someone to request to join... Sigh I don't want to be rude by saying no... DANG IT THIS IS TOUGH!!! Almost complete change of subject that I've been wondering lately: do you think Thur would have been a member? Me and him would have started as enemies, but in every battle we eventually became allies. Granted, we always back stabbed each other, but if me and him became allies, then we became allies, formed Team Dragon Flame, he would have been part of it and I can't see him betraying something official. Anyways, I've wanted to say that for a while. Back to the topic at hand, I would hope they could understand where we're coming from, but at the same time I don't want them to feel pushed away, you know?

Character Name: Lydia (not my real name, not even close, lol). She goes by "D". No one calls her Lydia... there's some dark or painful reason why but I don't know it yet.(It may not play into the story). The Lydia (pronounced li-dee-uh, short i, long e) name is actually a Skyrim reference to a Housecarl (basically a body guard to me and a protector of my stuff) who was assigned to me by a Thane, and she was an awesome heavyarmor, twohanded combat specialist with some magik skills. We were best buds traveling around Skyrim, completing quests & missions... Ahhh memories!...........So in honor of the memory of my Skyrim days, adventures, my character will take on the name of Lydia. But no one, NO ONE DARES to call her anything but "D". Except for Hades, and only in rare moments, since Hades knows her & her story.

So the description of how I look will be pretty much what I typed out a while back ... (I need to find that thread 😬) With a couple changes.... The long braided hair has various crystals entwined throughout, catching the light, but stand back, because if she whips her head just right, at the minimum it'll surprise or startle you, but it could definitely scratch & bruise you... Huh, like a spikey dragon tail 😁.

Hmmm I've been noticing that our "guests" at the forums have been steadily increasing since last night (was 300 then 500 and this morning 800+ !). I've also noticed we get a ramp up of guests when something big is announced, like changes to one of the games, updates, patch notes, nerfs/buffs list, tournament rules announcements, etc......I wonder which area is getting the traffic...... Hmmmm..... Maybe it's the Unite section because battle pass is ending so people are looking for info on the new Espeon battle pass? My suggestion is to check YouTube.... (There is something out there from a pretty reliable source if that's what you all are looking for)...... Or maybe it's the new release of Pitch Black TCG that's causing the traffic.... and new members.

Oh man was it busy last night in Unite! Every battle had random reals on both sides..m this was 5 to 6 hours after daily reset too. Quick Mer stadium, Casual Groudon, all reals... It was like playing ranked in casual lol. I guess that's a good thing? Espeon battle pass is generating a return of more players, at least for now.

(Three more added just thirty minutes ago, when they were last on, because I commented on my OWN Unite thread request about needing to increase the number of friends in our Unite friends list. LOL, sigh)

I wonder how many it will take before the mods notice the pattern and actually put a stop to the bullying that happens here. I'm actually skittish about commenting or posting in the Unite section now .... Thus all the Unite info relaying I do via my wall. Less likely to get flagged. 😕

Hmm sorry @Dragonfly102024 you left the unite lobby so i thought you went to play minecraft and then i didnt know what to do so i left the room and went to check on that thing you sent me (check the storys on what i found) also im sorry idk if your gona play unite or minecraft so idk what to do anymore. i just ate some ghost peper beef jerky so im very hyper right now and this is like the longest sentence i wrote in this for a long time lol and idk what im typeing but i have a question when we played that round my syther would evolve is that a glitch or do you have to like press a button to evolve also i was level 13 and I still didnt evolve sorry for the grammer erors i hope you can still read this clearly so bye im gona do unite if you in it and if not then go to the thing you invited me to and also i have another question what is CP's username just so I know? you can delete it after i see it but i was just wondering.

It depends on the move Scyther knows. When taught Bullet Punch it evolves but if not it stays the same

@fineasmatei , @Hades0918 is correct. CP like Scyther too, like almost as much as Blaziken. She told me the same thing. When you select your moves/attks prematch (can't pick in game anymore) that's what determines if you go red or stay green. Us three stayed green. Ok, her in game user name is next.

I had to take care of something in rl real quick... But I came back 5 min later.... OMG! While you all were in game I was invited to a quick catchem and....and I glitched big time!!!! Dhelmise went into the void after using his Unite move... I went to the left, kept spinning, started flying past the stadium, past the clouds, off the map.... And WENT INTO A VOID OF NOTHINGNESS!!!! My little map icon ended up on the right hand of the screen and I, Dhelmise, was moving on a black screen. I couldn't get back on the map. I tried for the remaining three minutes of the match but was nowhere! If it happens again I'm going to screen record it and submit a ticket and post it to Youtb again. Why do I keep getting bugs with Dhelmise? Hmmmmm.... I shall ponder this.....

(Me chuckling) Yes! I was a kid when they still put 8-tracks in vans. The recorded music industry timeline went something like LP/vinyl records then 8tracks then cassettes then CDs then mp3s /digital downloads. CDs started being used when I was in junior high (5th through 8th grade here), but they still sold cassette tapes until after I graduated from highschool. Infact, my parents gave me a boombox that had a CD player, radio (turn dial, not digital), equalizer (you'd actually slide them, also not digital), AND it had two cassette player slots (one for recording so you could record things off the radio or playback CDs and record them to cassette or for dubbing the other cassette), for my 8th grade graduation present. I'd later record CDs to cassette so I could listen to them in my knock-off walkmans (a music player that you'd wear headphones for and hold it in you sweatshirt pocket). So yeah, I had and still have a few cassettes.

Are they any good? Well that's a matter of perspective. For a collector, perhaps they are. For playback... Let's just say there's a reason why CDs became so popular. With cassettes, you had to listen to the whole thing or fastforward/rewind to skip songs you didn't want to listen to, but there's a catch... You had to guess when to stop the fastfoward, most players would not be able to detect when there was a lull in the recorded stuff so you had to guess. With the invent of CDs, you could now skip tracks 😃 and start at the beginning of a song with the quick press of a button! No more waiting or guessing. Cassette little wheels also had a tendency to "stick" so there would be occasional tapes getting "eaten" by the players. Lol. Yep, I got good at clearing those with minimal damage to the recorded materials. You also learned that you should first fastforward then rewind back the entire cassette before playing just to get those wheels nice and loose for good playback. Music quality though... CDs were better, sharper, clearer, less static, but with CDs you had to be careful not to scratch them or they'd skip.

I'll try to play tonight. Didn't even play my have yesterday, but this one was newscaster I watched a show with my family, so I'm not upset. Maybe tonight, though, since I get extra time on weekends! We consider Friday and Saturday the weekend when it comes to game and bed time.

I'm paranoid about leaving my username anywhere due to previous issues with sticks and wavy things from people in that section....
