Wat're you all's thoughts on the new mega ex? Both with the new set Mega Evolution and the mega pokemon ex? Honestly I think that they're pretty cool…but a little sad that you completely skip an evolution.

I like the new ex transition. I think it has a lot of meta involved, heavy hitters and lower energy cost. It really changes the sport.

bUT they do have the 3 prize card rule so tbh its a bit of a double edged sword also most have to evolve too (or the ones with more hp)

This is an opinion, but I don't feel like the prize cards justifies it.
It takes me losing five cards to my opponent just to build up little damage on their over powered Mega Lucario, get three and then they put in another Mega Lucario and just finish me
It's just too easy and too strong

Do you think then that once the old ex rotate out that it would be more balanced?

that's why I hate the word "meta"
instead of developing a deck that you want to use, you develop a deck you HAVE to use
