Emma has Our Friend Malamar! Also, the Team Flare and postgame plot lines from XY are finally being important to this game. I can't wait to find the mystery promotion match opponent.

I hate the game assuming I've never played XY.

Yes I did. And Floette left because she was disappointed in him. He's better now, and it's easy to tell he truly wants to fix his mistakes.
And they forced me to act shocked at Mable having been part of Team Flare. I know. I literally beat her and Lysandre multiple times and caught Xerneas/Yveltal. It's annoying. I get some newer fans might not know, but at least give me a single option that isn't shocked.

I kept forgetting which keys I had and whether I used this or that teleporter, but I got to the end of the labs, again, just like I did back in XY.
That was some big lore they dropped near the end. Also, they said "d1e" in a Pokémon game (again, as if I remember correctly, they also said it in PLA).
The A rank promotion match is next.

I almost shouted out "No!" out loud. Instead I only said it out loud. Plot twist after plot twist.
The music is gorgeous. The first few hours didn't give me a good first impression and I was beginning to regret the money I spent, but this was much better than I expected, though I still wish there were more returning characters.
Seriously, what is Clemont doing?
I still haven't finished the game, by the way. I'm just at the last part.

The music reminds me of the Tree of Life theme from PSMD. Both the roots and trunk versions.

I don't even know what to say about that Corbeau line. I get that the fanbase is full of kids, but I'm sure that they could still understand that message if they made it less subtle.
