The TM devolution it's a decent counter, multiple decks actually have it to counter evolution decks especially if they are heavy on Rare Candy.

    Mimikyu+Jirachi

Mimikyu is invincible to attack damage from EX and V pokemon…Jirachi prevents any damage counters from being placed on your pokemon

Make a deck with just those two pokemon and keep a Mimikyu in play…guess what? The dragapult now has no way of dealing damage

Only non-ex/v pokemon can touch Mimikyu and as long as Jirachi is on the bench, no damage counters can be placed

the new sylveon ex is a nice counter not many think of…you just put them right back in the deck I’ve played 22 games with it now and 17 of my opponents have conceded lol

Provided you can keep the sylveon alive long enough to utilize Angelite…players tend to focus down EX and V pokemon as soon as they hit the board

Jirachi is invalid, as it only prevents damage counters being placed from basics. It was designed specifically to prevent Sableye and nothing else. Rabsca is what you want, but you have to evolve it to get it into play.

ah, i missed the basic part, that's on me…but still the strategy is sound, Mimikyu is immune to attack damage from EX and V pokemon

and pokemon like Rabsca can protect your bench

i honestly just use ethan's TYPHLOSION and I normally win because it is a single prize only deck but the secret box may be hard to come by

I like to run a combination of Zoroark and Blaziken ex and I’ve found I win almost all the time into Dragapult. The Zoroark does more damage with damage counters on it, and Blaziken is is beefy so I can hit, retreat to my bench and finish with Zoroark. I also run boss orders with pal pad and I prefer to go first and unfair stamp. It’s not uncommon for Dragapult to take the first prizes only for me to kill it, brick their hand, and start sniping evolving dragapults on the bench with boss orders.
