Balance has been lost

I'm not saying TCG was perfect before Mega Evolutions. There were many broken strategies in it. But this is insanity.
I've played three games today. Two against Mega Lucario and one on Mega Abomasnow. I haven't won one.
I have a strategy. It takes a bit of setting up, but it is pretty good. In two of those matches I had everything I needed and was set up to play. The first game was a Lucario. I didn't even have time to do anything and my opponent already had two Megas in play plus the Solrock, Lunatone, and Hariyama. The Lucario one shot all my Pokémon before I could do anything. I got one of my Pokémon to stage 2 and put it in active, did some damage, and my opponent felt practically nothing. Just kept going and won. I didn't have time to get a full set up. In my other match against Lucario I didn't get a good hand. They got everything they needed so quick and wiped me off the face of the Earth. In the Abomasnow match, I got a good set up. I got the needed cards. I had everything. But it just kept getting Water energies and one shotted even my 310 HP Tsareena ex.
These strategies don't take enough time or effort to set up. They get it from the get go and leave you with nothing but loss. It isn't fair at all.

Yea it is just my opinion, but thats how it is anymore. They just keep adding more powerful cards an make it so you can set up everything on your first turn an match is over by second turn. Coin toss an cards being dealt take the most time, match doesnt even last that long. And if players dont get what they need to set up on first hand , they concede.

You explained that perfectly.
I don't concede. I won't. I let the game play out, even when I know my loss is inevitable. But I've had people that I get one good card out and KO one of their Pokémon and they quit! It upsets me!
I've had very little games that truly lasted a long time, and it's people that use strategies that scatter energies or scatter damage around the board. Those are the majority of the long matches. I have had a few, however, that both me and my opponent used decks that took setting up, and we got set up about the same time so it became a long battle of equal blows and counters. I like those.
These newer decks give Stage 1 240 health and 130 damage, normally first turn evolution is available. That was the Lucario, Abomasnow was worse, only needing a few water energies and I was over. It's too easy!
Although I do have to say I built my own Mega Gardevoir deck and it's not too broken. It takes time to get my energies flowing and easy too stop early game. It's late game it becomes a beast. I have lost many times with this deck, though, even when I get my full set up. I think it's pretty leveled.
Sorry. That became more than what I meant.
