How do I practice and get better at TCG?

Hi guys,
I am kind of new to the game but I've dedicated hours and hours practicing both irl and live but even when I feel I am leaning sometimes, I feel stuck, demotivated and as someone that use to collect and fell in love of the tcg is sad to think I was not goo enough and retire. I Mean I already asked good players of my leagu and paid lessons, still, even when I used several decks till I felt comfotable piloting, played meta decks and still, bottom at every league cup.. I guess I am still hopeful there is something I can do, I feel Live is not good practice as I am unable to reach +1600 elo . I learn my 60, practice sequence, thinking ahead and play by myself every day and tcgmasters. What am I missing? Patience? Talent? Luck? All of the above😭 thanks for any tips. I Had a test discord group but I did not cut it as they are on a higher level.

the problem with using TCG Live is that the game has a built in RNG, something you can't control
with real life, you can have some modicum of control over how cards are shuffled and which decks are allowed ect ect ect
with TCG Live, you are at the whim of an un-seen judge, something that will shuffle your cards for you and often in terrible manners, requiring multiple mulligans or even extra draws after the first turn just to get an item card
there have been many times where my opponent was able to get their key pokemon into play with full energy by turn 3 where I am struggling just to get another basic pokemon into play
all in all, it really just comes down to luck and strategy, hoping you draw the cards you need and predicting how your opponent will react to what cards you play

no problem
there is an AI practice bot in TCG live, but again…you are at the mercy of the game's RNG

An you will just continue to run into the same deck builds over an over an over. You will get so sick of facing dragonpult an charizard. So usually it doesnt matter, bring counters for those mainly. You will get burnt out quick. Between that and the annoying rng.
