Yeah, if there is a pokemon game where it's "fun" and "likeable" at first, then I would maybe try it, but I miss pokemon games good for nuzlocking, and that give an actual challenge. I miss the routes. I miss the mazes. I miss the 2d (kinda). I get Pokemon legenlegends z-a is a Legends game, but it would still be great if it wasnt as open world as sv (I'm probably bias, but I feel that for a game with outside catching and not a gym/champion storyline, PLA was pretty great.) Like I'll see channels I used to watch alot (Like Shortcat, TDW98, SKaR, and others like that) Have fun with, say, Mario kart world, then when one update that doesn't "please" them comes, they basically give up the game. I pretty much have given up some games, but none of them are pokemon. I just feel if the next game is open world, I woudwould probably play it, but only shiny hunt after I finish the story, maybe do some battling or replay it.

Nintendo has said they won’t use it so Pokemon most likely won’t either.

I agree. I’m not very likely to beat a Pokemon game and continue playing. There’s way too many games I’m playing through right now as it is. Why make an open world game with nothing to explore?
