What fresh direction should the anime take? A slice-of-life arc? Darker mystery story? A region-wide contest festival?

    I'm not very consistent in watching any but the start of the anime and I would like a version where the protagonist's main pokemon is a smart Ditto. The Ditto would start not very strong and take a while to transform and at the end it transforms into more powerful forms of the pokemon it is transforming into(and saves the world).

    a slice of life that is both funny and full of action with a premise that is funny as well.
