Damage not working properly

Too many times now have i seen the damage not work properly in game. I have seen far too often how my pokemon attacks say they do a certain amount of damage, but it is reduced by 10, 20, or 30 damage. There is nothing on the board, attached cards, abilities, resistance, etc, that states my pokemon's damage will be reduced.

For example, I attack for 120 damage as the card states, but the actual damage on the defending pokemon is only 100. I do not understand how this keeps happening. It has cost me so many matches to this day.

Can someone please look into this? Has anyone else noticed this issue with attack damage bugs? Someone please help or respond. Thanks.

It can't be looked into because you're giving zero information about the cards involved. Do you expect the devs to individually test every single card interaction? It's way more likely that you're consistently missing something though. Every time I've seen people complaining about incorrect damage it turns out that they missed something that affects damage. The game is very buggy, and that leads to people believing that every unexpected outcome is a bug without really checking due to confirmation bias.

Next time this happens, check the status arrows on both Active Pokémon before attacking to make sure you didn't miss something.

I found out the issue. It was the Double Colorless Energy. I apologize for this post lol. But thank you for responding everyone!
