During this period, code card redemption via the website will be unavailable.

Why cant I transfer my Genesect into shield?

exactly what the title says, I have a shiny Genesect from Pokemon go and is now in home, it won’t let me transfer it in? Does anyone have a fix?

In Sword and Shield, some Pokémon aren't coded into the game, and you can't bring them in at all. But I'm pretty sure Genesect IS in Sword and Shield (and they're the only mainline games on switch where you can use Genesect) so I have no idea how to help you.

In home it does say you can put Genesect into sword and shield
