Just a suggestion but...
I really hate to see the TCGO to shut down. It was the way I learnt about the TCG, maybe you could release newer cards on Live and rebrand the TCGO as "Pokemon Trading Card Game Live Classic" or something along those lines. Again, I really hate to see the TCGO shut down.

This is one of the dumbest statements I've heard lately. Why would they upgrade to a new system and put all their devs on it just to take devs off to make another system? I'm guessing you are a kid and don't know how business works, or if you are an adult. Please take some business classes.

And you don't seem to understand what he is trying to convey with his idea, a rebranding would not involve major development effort, it involve swapping some logos, so graphics here and there, updating version info etc but the game itself (PTCGO) would remain basically the same. Also it would be smart from a business persepective: People that don't like PTCGL (like myself) will not switch to PCTGL in it's current state, even if it is the only option. Those people could be lost as customers if they turn their back to the PTCG online experience completely, if not given any option but to trasnfer their account to PTCGL in it's current state (i know i would quit). By keeping PTCGO alive a little longer they buy themselves valuable time to fix certain aspects of PCTGL and people most likely will switch once it's in an more finished state. Also, immediately attacking someone for a simple suggestion is not nessecary. Before you you direct your low swings at me, i work in the IT industry and i work closely with a development team, so i know how software releases are handled. As poorly optimized as PTCGO is, it still can be played on low tier machines, no way that works with PTCGL, it struggles on my PC that can handle most modern games fairly well, if Witcher 3 runs somewhat smoothly i think PTCGL should be a breeze. There i ALOT of work to be done before PTGCL should drop, rushing the release is unnecessary as long as ptcgo exists.

@KatzenMau So who's paying for the servers in this scenario? You?
And the fact that everyone is forced to migrate makes it impossible anyway.
