Please add chat system in-game

Half the time, I end up with teammates who ignore pings like they’re invisible—and just when things start getting tough, someone either rage-surrenders or goes AFK, even though we still have a solid shot at winning. I just wanna type, 'Don’t surrender, just play better'

    Don't you know that there will be spammers in the game?

    Never, I hope. In-game chat:

    A) distracts from play while you choose or type;

    B) jerks will get angry at teammates and bypass filters to talk smack.

    C) there will be even more spam (I am so tired of early-game “gather here” notices just cuz someone can’t defend their goal. Or “Check it out” every 5 seconds to the backcapping n00b who went rogue). It is already annoying enough when someone spams the surrender vote (and then we typically go on to win).

    I rather like the lack of having to tolerate jerk behavior via chat. I get enough jerk behavior from non-friend teammates who steal my called-lane and poach all my wild mons so that I cannot level up and am useless. Tangent………..

    There is a voice chat. Not very used and usually you can not understand the random person who surprisingly uses it, but maybe just try to speak more loudly and clearly?

    I cannot imagine typing a message during match, you are supposed to have both of your hands on the controllers and eyes on the match - the pings are actually a pretty reasonable system.

    Also, the people in discussion may be minors. These would never get the messages or ,even if they did, which I doubt, they might not be able to read or read fast enough.

    In-game chat system... that would be a really bad idea. I mean like the game isn't toxic enough...
