Why are we not allowed to trade promo cards?

The trade system seems pretty fair for the developing team and the company. Why are we not allowed to trade promo cards?

    If I had to guess, the trade system is still in its early stages. Maybe later it will be possible, but not yet.

    They don't want people farming the best cards across multiple accounts. They want you logging in, playing events and buying gold all on one account.

    So the most desirable cards that people actually want to trade, promos and higher rarities, cannot be traded.

    Most digital trading card games have eliminated trading entirely. I am surprised the developers even made this concession, albeit heavily restricted.

    I expect them to phase out trading entirely over time, not expand it.
