Now that we know most of the information about Legends Z-A, what do you guys think about it? Will it be a decent game, or will it be another scarlet and violet? I personally think it looks pretty good, but thats just my opinion, and I can't say anything for sure before release. Do you guys like it so far, or not?

To be honest, i'm not as excited for it than I was for S/V. I'm more on the competitive side, and the legends games are entirely focused on the casual experience. While PLA is my favorite pokemon game, I am excited for it, but in those games once you get the shiny charm and shiny hunt a lot and complete the main story, the fun drains out.

I think if it's anything like Legends: Arceus it will be really fun. Arceus was such a refreshing take on the game and very fun to play. Untitled Image

I'm really excited. Pokemon Y was my first video game so I'm just glad there mentioning it again.

I have already set my hopes as high as they can possibly go.

I am lukewarm on it at the moment. It doesn't look terrible, but at the same time I have my reservations. I am certainly not rushing out to buy a S2 for it. If I do get it, I will stick to the S1 for now.

Unless they release some new trailer or I learn about some new feature that makes me want to pick it up day 1, I will probably wait a bit, watch some streams and then buy it when it is discounted or any DLC is released.

It looks good. Watching the trailers reminds me of rollerskating around Lumiose in XY, which was REALLY fun. I hope the game isn't somehow smaller than a singular city (XY's Lumiose) like SV was (SV may have been a giant open world, but the only things to do other than the story are raids, shiny hunting, and competitive Pokémon. There were MUCH more things to do in just Lumiose city back in XY).

Did you know there were even random NPCs you could battle everywhere in Lumiose? If you wanted to battle them, you needed to talk to them and press yes, not just walk in front of them like in routes. And they could be battled once a day.

Lumiose city was gigantic and full of things to do, and I really hope they don't forget that in Z-A.

I'd rather that they just gave Pokémon new evolutions, rather than siting through mega evolution animations every time. Even if that means they have a third evolution.
