Generation 1/Kanto has all the best zingers. Granted the Japanese dub was better than the English one due to censorship. For example, missed out on Jesse & James making fun of Misty's chest size in a very unsubtle way. Anyways… as for some quotes…

Season 1-7: "Well I'm not off duty till past your bedtime". Poor Brock… victim of Officer Jenny's burn. If only we knew how bad it would get lol

Season 1-7: "There are only three sensational sisters and one runt". Lily towards her younger sister Misty… ouch.

Season 1-27: Suzie: "Shouldn't you stop them?"; Brock: "That's like trying to stop the tide."

Season 1-27: "Now we'll see who gets the last quack" Ash roasting Misty

Season 2-14: "Misty, please. Only one of us can hallucinate at a time." ← all timer right there

Season 2-15: "Don't you even know the right way to get kidnapped!" ← Misty yelling at Psyduck.. such a love/hate relationship

Finally… my personal favorite…
