    Personally, I like Nidorans (Female) because they can learn flatter. I was having trouble with mewtwo and then I got a flatter nidoran and mewtwo just 2-shot itself. Also, Rhydon can be pretty strong, especially with lots of hit healing. Definitely Pokemon with moves like charge or bulk-up can be useful.

    Nidoran is Normal Gray stew and Mulligan stew. Rhydon is ground, rock, gray, or mulligan stew (normal)
