Thanks from battle but no rewards

Anyone has any idea why sometimes when I get a thanks from battle, I get a shop ticket in my inbox. But in most of the time it just says no item can be claimed. Is this a bug or what???

    I think you can get 5 shop tickets per day and when you battle if you already have got your 5 shop tickets you just get nothing

    This can’t be right cause I have been playing this game since it dropped in the US and I haven’t gotten any tickets from battling after the first day I unlocked it.

    Either there’s a bug or there’s something else we’re missing.

    I haven’t gotten tickets for thanks in days. I can’t figure out what is going on.

    The 5 daily Shop Tickets from "Thanks" are not limited from those given when battling… it also includes the daily likes from your Community Showcases (like binders).

    Yh I think that has to be it cuz just now I’ve got exactly 5 tickets from showcase but I mean that’s the problem bc you can’t actually see who else has given like to you (so you can’t return).

    I believe the 5 battle "Thanks" gifts per day is a lie.

    For 3 or 4 straight days, I have not received a single gift from a single battle "Thanks". I've started with a fresh day, with a fresh and empty list for gifts. I'll knock out a some battles, and go to the Gifts list. Each battle "Thanks" gift I open is empty, meaning no gift was awarded. for that day. I rinse and repeat each day, starting with an empty Gifts list, and each day, no "Thanks" gift rewards are awarded. Essentially, each day is a lie; there are no awards for "Thanks" gifts.

    What is the point of having the option for "Thanks" when the system doesn't reward you, contrary to what has been previously stated? I'd really like a developer to respond to this.
