How would you rate the trading system? (Sentiment Gauge)

I am seeing a lot of complaints about the new trading system that was released so I think we need to voice our opinions on whether it should be changed or if it should stay the way it is.

Rate the current trading system 1 through 10. 10 being perfect 1 being trash

It kind of HAS to be the way it is.

My gripe right now is how hard it is to even get the trade you want to happen. I plan on trying to see if there are discord servers for trading, but so far I've had no luck getting any trades to even happen.

I'm sitting on 570 tokens, with all the gift tokens and trading energy in my mailbox running out the clock. I feel pressured to get trades done but I can't make any happen.

I think you should be able to set a "requested cards" list of up to 3 cards when you request a trade. That way, you can request friends without hoping they guess the right card that you want.

As a f2p player that started playing since beta this trading system now it's useless for me.

Only traded a couple of 1 stars that was missing, but now I already have all the tradable cards… so until they add more tradable cards I will not touch it.

Also the trade system itself it's horrible, the fact that you can't annouce the cards you need it's nonesence and requires 3rd party platforms to make a decent trade… this makes no sense.

i personally think the system is terrible. I can understand if they have their reasons for making trading hard because of RMT but making people have to search forums just to find a trade and list every card theyre willing to trade in each message is an awful system. Games in 2005 had better trading systems theres no excuse for it to be this clunky and tiresome.

Since I got a disagree, let me explain why it has to be the way it is.

First let's start by acknowledging that the devs have been pretty generous so far. They didn't have to give us Wonder Pick. Notice that the solo-drop promo-pack battles say "chance", although it's become clear that the chance has always been 100% so far. They didn't have to do that. The Wonder Pick events give us free picks. You get a 2 week free trial of premium, which translates to 14 free packs. They gave us 1,000 free trade tokens and 12 free trades of energy. The sheer number of free pack hourglasses from solo battles is crazy. Last but not least, they didn't even HAVE to give us trading at all. Trading being an option AT ALL is generous of them.

The biggest reason it has to be the way it is, is because they don't want a black market where people buy up their collections and the devs won't see a dime, not from those transactions or from those players buying gold for packs. It's untenable. They cannot and will not create a trading system that enables that. Ya'll are just going to have to get over that.

I agree that they went a little too far with the fact that you are essentially trading away 5 cards of a rarity just to get 1 card of that same rarity. I also understand why they did it that way, though.

From the position of a player like me who has played since launch and has been active every day, that's nothing to me. I got extra cards of every tradeable rarity for days and I only need a few cards of these sets in the first place.

But I also can see that players who started later than me and so aren't so "rich" are getting a raw deal. That's why I chose 3 on the poll.

I'll reiterate, though. My only issue, personally, is the fact that you can't request what you want for the card you are offering.

Honestly the trade system is okay. There needs to be a discussion forum on the app though….

And the ability to offer more than one trade at a time
