Imo the feeling you lost was the gambling of finding a random pokemon in wild grass. It's still in the game but limited to your field of view. I quite like the open world because it makes finding pokemon faster and less frustrating. This gives me an idea of what I would do to grow pokemon. But I'm not going to share because the developers should have their freedom.

What Clasingla meant to say was that they should make the Pokemon game more focused on story in stead up liberal open world gampeplay just like what happened in Scarlet Violet.

True but the Story's muddled by the liberal choice in the open world gameplay. Besides, I would like to see more Story than open world gameplay.
