You could start a new game in SwSh since the Dynamax Adventures can be unlocked pretty early on. You don't even need to delete all your save data, you could just use a new account.

Also, I agree. Shiny Lock is annoying and pointless. Why does the game not want me to spend 20 hours resetting in front of a Legendary so it could be a slightly different colour? They lose nothing. Maybe they want people to go to events where you can get a shiny legendary more?

its confusing why they decided to lock shinies I can really only understand why they do it for box legendaries in their respective games since they have an influence in the main story of that game and mythicals (sadly) since they are event pokemon. but what i don't understand is why they shiny locked non box legendaries, starters, returning legendaries, and gimmighoul. non box arts have nothing to do with the story which should make it reasonable to not shiny lock them like how they didn't shiny lock regieleki and regidrago even if they want to save the shiny box arts for an event they have no reason to save the side legendaries shinies for an event because they are more likely to have less fans then the box arts so why can't we shiny hunt them. now starters shocks me this was a classic shiny hunt throughout all games until they shiny locked them in swsh to me it makes no sense why shiny lock something that you probably won't do an event for and have people use the masuda method (also making it harder for them to even do that since they got rid of the day care and have to wait a long time before you can start hatching) plus its just not the same as having your first pokemon during your adventure being shiny. now returning legendaries they should have definitely not shiny locked them because it is way past the point to do a shiny event for majority of them and why can't i shiny hunt kyogre is scarlet and violet when i can shiny hunt it in ever other game before scarlet and violet which it was in except alpha sapphire which made since it was the box art for that game with a whole new form, but i could still hunt it in sapphire, emerald, heartgold, ultra moon, shield, brilliant diamand, and shining pearl. and here is the worst shiny lock they have done gimmighoul i just don't think its fair cause gimmighoul is just a regular pokemon like any other thats like saying hey lets shiny lock our mascot just so we can do a special tera raid event for it where there is a small chance you can get a shiny varient of it which is at full odds even for those with the shiny charm.

sorry for that long rant, I'm just really dissatisfied on how they are handling shinies right now tbh I just want to feel like i earned a shiny or that i have good luck when i find one but now days shinies are so common it just doesn't feel rewarding when i catch one.

If you have pokemon go you can get it. Necrozma was my first shiny legendary.

I kind of like shiny lock because it means that there is no shame in not wanting to reset the game over and over. Part of the reason I still haven't caught a Necrozma in Pokemon Shield is because I want to catch the shiny.
