I was told these cards were fake. Are they?

are you sure they were offical packs? …. you bought them through a Card Shop/Big Box Retail/Online? …. there are some shady shops out there will open and reseal .. if you dont know what your looking for on a sealed pack their can be some resealed packs…. all packs should be sealed tight, with little to no wiffle in the packaging, also if you see the seals on the end you cant see the seal line is a good indicator also a Diamond Cross seal pattern and not the normal crimp look is a good sign as a repack as well..

IIRC, they were a standard crimp, and I bought them through a card shop. I'm not sure what you mean by wiffle @daslowone
