Pokemon red help

So I am playing through the game for the first time and I realized there is no way for me to get the other 2 starters I have charmander is there a glitch to get them or do I have to buy another game because I don't have a friend that has it

I'm not playing on emu I'm doing gba sp

    probably have to find a friend there is not a glitch that I’m aware of that lets you obtain all of them

    though I am pretty sure you can get all the starters in Pokémon yellow

    I did complete the Pokédex as a kid back in the day, but it took lots of trading with just about everyone on the playground. Most people evolve their starters quickly, so finding someone with the first or mid stage starters could be a challenge. Eeveelutions were easier.

    The lack of breeding made it all even harder. Fortunately legendaries weren't version exclusive at that point.

    Pokémon Yellow did indeed give you one of each of the original starters. That made the whole thing easier.

    If you don't have copies of the other games or friends playing through Pokémon Red and Blue in 2024, another thing you could do is transfer them onto your save file, but you will need other hardware to extract and reinsert the save.

    How legitimately do you want to complete the Pokédex? Or do you just want all the starters?

    @TheJeffers i am not doing it completely legitimately because I can't get mew in 2024 without glitches and I'm also going to get missingno I will use glitches to get the other 2 starters if I have to

    from what I heard the stadium route is not the greatest. Doesn't feel legitimate. So if you're okay with that.

    Or since you're out of luck trading with playground friends then focus on crafting the absolute best team you can and crush that competition.
