@Meowy11111 I'm glad you are starting the irl I would get an ex battle deck tho should come with everything you need or a league battle deck also I would get a playmat but they can get expensive
I would buy either dragonshield or gamegenic sleeves
Dragonshield are stronger and more expensive
Gamegenic are cheaper and shuffle better
I really hope that helps I know it alot I really like the irl version 😅😅

Thanks! I was thinking of getting the Shining Fates Elite Box though (it has everything I need- but do you need to be elite to use it? 🤨) I have experience in online TCG though, so I’ve got the hang of it.

First, locate your nearest game store, not every town has one, but plenty ship across the states. Then you should probably ask the professor there for help building your first deck, I recommend getting comfortable playing Dragapult ex, if you don't have a game store near you, or it doesn't do Pokemon events, many streamers, or us in the community will be happy to help. I then recommend getting accessories, I recommend a pack of 36 transparent d6, VSTAR marker, Dragonshield sleeves, and a deck mat, don't worry about a deck box or an accessory box yet, the box Dragonshield sleeves will hold a sleeved deck perfectly, and you can use a small tin for the accessories, and if you have access to a 3D printer, you can find files for an accessory holder that fits perfectly into tins online. Finally, don't waste your money on packs, buy singles instead.

Okay, I recommend using Full Grip Games. They ship fairly quickly to my home state of Texas despite being in Akron, Ohio. I'm also sure Andrew Mahone can help on his Twitch channel, TrickyGym, which is streamed in Full Grip.
