Card Prices in Different Stores

I know malls are typically more expensive, but I went into claire's yesterday with my friend and they had some Paradox Rift packs near all their Pokemon stuff, and they were $12.99 for one pack! We were both like jeez, who's gonna buy these? That's so expensive, for reference the packs at the Target near my house are like $4.99 at the most (probably similar around you), and they're like $2.99 or $3.99 at the five below. Stuff at the mall usually costs more, but that's like 4 times as much, have you seen stores selling cards for that much before?

I have not; that’s crazy! I’m disappointed to hear about it too because people with less knowledge about the game than us (grandparents of players, young players, etc.) might buy them not knowing they were way overcharged.

But those cheap ones (and even the expensive ones!) can be fake
