Does anyone here want a Let's Go game set in Johto? If so, what would you like the versions to be?

Is Pokémon Go still popular enough to carry a new game?
Taking the lead from Colisseum, maybe Embeon and Umbreon make sense. Unless they want to do one version for each starter, but at this point they should make it all one game instead of splitting it in two, never mind making 3.

@Flametix I don't think the game would need to follow the exact same plot as the originals. That would make the remake more worthwhile, actually. Even if I'd have to tolerate Go mechanics and a lack of wild battles.
Maybe you could get your starter as an egg, and it could hatch into your starter/partner. Togepi could be one of them.

Let's GO Pikachu/Eevee was a severe disappointment. While I have longed for a Pokemon Yellow remake(since I still own an original Yellow cartridge), the Let's GO games were disappointing for several reasons. 1) Battling Wild Pokémon trumps the Pokémon GO catching. Whomever thought this was a good idea deserves to be fired. 2) No Abilities whatsoever, even for Pokémon who would really benefit and 3) No Gen 2/4 Pokémon that were later added to Kanto lines(ex: Smoochum for Jynx or Steelix for Onix). I do love the regional variants that help fill in the holes in the Kanto Pokedex(notably the lack of Dark Types), but that could have been done by doing a reverse Gold/Silver/Crystal by having Johto be a post-game region(hence two games in one).
No disrespect to HG/SS, the best remakes/remasters to have been made to date but I honestly wouldn't mind another Johto region game if only to see how Fairies and Mega Evolution would fare. I just wouldn't want it done in the manner of Let's GO but rather base it on Pokémon Crystal.
