Anyone Else Complete the Battle Pass Really Early?

Its been about 2-3 weeks since I've completed the battle pass(around the 7 weeks remaining mark) and I realised that this battle pass was only available for 10 weeks when it first came out.

So for me to complete the battle pass in around 3 weeks seems very quick for me. I get that they changed how much XP or battle pass points you get per win which is great, I just feel now I'm very bored having completed the battle pass and only getting 90 gems per day is a not enough to compensate for how much I play this game as apart from ladder rewards, this is all I get.

Therefore, may I suggest that for players that complete the battle pass early or before the next battle pass comes out, players can get an extra amount of credits or crystals currency per day for every day up until the battle pass finishes as long as they completed the battle pass early.

I think this will keep players on the app for longer rather than players just coming on for 15-20 minutes per day to complete daily challenges and then log off and repeat. And the recent change to the in game economy has significantly limited how much currency a player(particularly newer players) can earn due to shop purchase limits.

Which leaves me with one question. Is PTCG Live being prepared for microtransactions?

The only question I have is who would be crazy enough to pay for anything in this game lol

It's too late for microtransactions now… unless they make the current currency useless and add a completely new currency system... and obviously they would have to fix a lot of old bugs (tbh they can't do it).

And about the Battle Pass, you probably play way too much... go do something else next time, I still need more than 20 levels to finnish it.

@DoubleCure I think you will be surprised how many people love the game so much that they will invest their own money into the game. Just look at TCG Pocket.

It's clearly not too late. All these economy changes with removal of pokecoins and shop purchase limits make me think that microtransactions will happen eventually. I think TPCI has seen Pocket's 300 million USD revenue and has had a wake up call and are now like, " we have to get on this train." simply because it has potential. The other main worry is would they actually re-invest back into TCGL with the money that is earned from consumers or will they just be happy to finally be making money off the game in the current state that its in.

Personally I think it would be stupid for this game to remain microtransaction free because that's the one of the main goals of a business. Revenue and Profit. And we all know that Pokemon itself is generally an expensive hobby.

Maybe I just won alot of games and got loads of XP im not sure with the battle pass comment.

I'm just thinking about the potential future of the game as it hasnt been announced yet that microtransactions will be a thing but with whats been going on inside and outside of TCGL makes me think that TPCI will surprise us.

There are big differences... TCG Pocket doesn't have dozens of broken bugs for 2 years, many players like me already have literally millions of each currency so no need to ever spend any real money in significant stuff (unless they completely change the economy system), also the game has even less content than a mobile game that just came out and they also give away most of the top decks and many high rarity cards...

Basically if they wanted to add microtransactions they would need to completely change the game and fix bugs that exist for more than 2 years... so you can see how microtransactions at this state would kill the game.
