They should make a ball for each of the types. It seems unfair that Bug and Water types get most of the spotlight

I agree. Plus, the different Poke Balls not only based on types and stats, but also other circumstance such as during the time of weather, time of day or even an eclipse and so forth.

That is going a bit overboard. We don't want to create a slew of worthless, hyper-specialised balls.
That said, I wouldn't be opposed to balls that catch a number of types and follow a specific theme, like the net ball.
Common environments seems like an obvious choice. Something like a "Sky Ball" for flying Pokémon or a "Subterranean Ball" for Pokémon that live underground.
