Bring back the Pokeathlon and such
I would love to see a major upgrade for the return of the Pokeathlon as well as the battle frontier among many newer features in the main pokemon games.

Sadly I think we are not going to see gimmicks and post-games anymore. At least not in the way we previously experienced them.
Game Freak can barely get the core game functioning properly. There's little development time for extras.

You'd be surprised if someone like me could bring them back with some upgrades, such as a game corner filled with arcade minigames.

@TheJeffers What if someone like me could persuade said company to bring it back. Even if it means persuade them to revamp the game corner from a casino to something more involving a classic arcade filled with all sorts of minigames. No gambling.

Well, when you ascend the Pikachu-adorned golden throne and decree from on high that Game Freak make good games instead, we can look forward to that.

I wouldn't go that far but you have to admit a makeover for the game corner is a must have improvement.
