Do cards that increase damage do it once or affect a multiplier like per energy?

Like Giovanni's Scheme adds 20 damage. Is that only once or for each energy when my attack does 30 damage per energy? Thank you for any help, I really need it! :)

The card will only does what it says, if there is nothing written about energies influencing the attack in the card, the amout of attached energies will not have any effect on that attack.
Giovanni's Scheme makes your Pokémon's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon during the turn it was played, there nothing related to energies there, doesn't matter if you have 10 or 100 energies... the card will only add 20 more damage.
