there are some obtainable trainer cards In the shop I recommend getting red card professor oak and pokeball
Also every pack you open gives you 5 pack points these can be used to exchange for cards you might need for a deck also most of the cards for a good mewdevoir ex are from the mewtwo packs and the shops the only exception to this would be Sabrina from charizard packs

You should try to have decks that use the least amount of different types (excluding colorless) since having a deck with multiple types causes the energy generated during your turn to be randomly selected from the types in your deck.

You can get different cards depending on which pack you open. Some decks require cards from only one type of pack, others require cards from all 3. You should also save your pack points for a rare or strong card that you need.
You can also get item cards from the advanced tutorial as well as from the store.
You can have up to 2 of the same card (determined by its name), and you should consider having only a few Pokémon cards and more supporter cards.
Most strong decks have an EX Pokémon, though there are alternatives. Practically all decks should have two Poke Ball cards and two Professor’s Research cards, though.

thanks! I’ve tried those two! By the way why does kabutops evolve from dome fossil instead of being a basic? I mean Ik it’s prehistoric but literally nobody uses dome fossil
