Dropping the game, sorry I ever put any ammount of faith in it, and sorry I ever bought packs
So after the new update it doesn't take a genius to figure out how things went down. The publisher was like, oh our game is good, generous and good value? Oh we can't have THAT, what do you mean people are enjoying the game, what do you mean people who play the game consistently get value out of it? NO!
This is 2024. Everything needs to be as lowest value as possible. What do you mean people could buy the premium battle pass if they engaged regularly with the game? What do you mean people had collections and could actually play the game?
This game was one of the only live service games that wasn't plagued by greed. I mean until now. Nobody cares about you balancing, nobody cares that you're gonna 'fix' it. The fact that you nerfed the battle pass to the point of making worthless to engage with is completely ridiculous. The fact that you put out the update in such a state and have the nerve to parade this as a good thing is insulting.
Which is why I will not only stop engaging with the game, stop buying any packs ever, and uninstall it. But, I will also stop investing ANY money moving forward in Pocket TCG, or any of your future products. A bit much? Yes, absolutely! Do you deserve it? Yes, absolutely! Yes, it's our fault, yes it was the nerf of the battle pass, yes you lost a paying customer on multiple touchpoints. No, I will not be interacting or supporting your brand or francise ever again. Yes, I will never introduce my kids to your francise on pure spite alone for this one thing, just to make sure you lose as many propspective clients as possible.

I don't even care about what they do now, they ignore the player's requests for years… like the mute avatar option, allow to skip celebrations screen, dark theme, finnish expanded, and new formats/game modes. Instead they are doing stuff nobody asked for…
At this point we must assume they are completely clueless… let them do whatever they want I don't care anymore, I'll just play until I get bored and then some day I'll quit, now I'm more into TCG Pocket anyway.

Yea, extremely disappointed. Wasnt really playing much as it was. Now going to be alot less an probably move on to something else.

It still boggles my mind, of all the changes they could have implemented…why remove the premium pass option entirely?
Who cares if we're gaining tiers faster? We're still getting less as a trade off…it's like getting $100 and then getting punched in the face

I've been trying to avoid that... being that the next big TCG I'd look at has MTX's and plays way faster than this… however I have been learning a bit of it.

It has a 1.7 rating on Google play. They seriously just need to end the game completely at this point. They do nothing the player wants and every update they receive more backlash. It's only going to end in the game being closed down so just save everyone's time now. Pocket is out performing it and Live is the full version of the card game. Embarrassing. Every other TCG is millenniums ahead of Live.

Grindy? I don't care, instead of listen to some simple things players have been asking since beta they are doing this stuff that I dont see anyone happy with not just me.
Skip celebrations, mute avatar option, a decent deck builder and card colletion (not even mention that expanded it's a lost cause)…. that's what people have been asking for ages, and they actually said they were focus on finishing Expanded lol whatever sure… but somehow this Ladder/Pass stuff is what we get.
