No reward for likes?

I have noticed that "likes" and "thank you"s I garner have started giving no reward. I get the notification that someone sent a like, but there is no item.

Is there a certain limit to how many you can receive per month? Was it only something you could receive early on in your account? Or is this some kind of bug?

Have I missed something during the endless tutorials?

    there is a certain limit per day @TheJeffers after 5 likes or thank you’s you won’t receive any more tickets for that day

    Oh, interesting. I wonder why I hadn't encountered that limit before now. Is there no limit at early levels or is that a recent change?

    from all I know it has always been like that at least since the worldwide release on October 30th

    I don't think it's a bug, it's more of they program it on purpose kind of thing.
