Banned/illegal cards TCG Live

HI,

I was going to try my Chien Pao deck in Live today and see that 3 cards are "banned'illegal" from the prebuilt pack.

Skater Park

Next ball

Escape Rope

They are not banned in the real world so I'm guessing it's an issue wil TCG Live not being able to handle the functionality of these cards?

Anyone know if they are going to work in the future?

Thanks

Those cards are out of rotation most likely. Cards with D and E in the corner are no longer legal standard format. Check the corner of the cards.

Like said above some of those cards rotated out of the Standard format, it's not the same as banned. You can still play those cards in other formats like Expanded. To do that in TCG Live you have to create an Expanded format deck then play on Casual Expanded mode.

At the moment, only cards with the F, G and H Regulation marks are legal, or most cards from Briliant Stars-Stellar Crown. Once rotation happens sometime next year, all cards with the F mark will rotate and cards with the upcomming "I" mark will become legal.

"some of those cards rotated out of the Standard format"

Nest ball is still playable in Standard… it is present in majority of current decks.

    Thanks for the input guys,

I know that cards before f are out of rotation, that's a given, but that did not explain why the nest ball was crossed out in my deck too. The other two totally make sense.

I just tried to add the nest ball back again now and it is showing up no problem.

I wonder if my deck had an old version and once I deleted it from the deck I was able to add a new one.

Or maybe it was a glitch?

    Thanks
