Do you think that Dark and Light Pokémon cards will be replaced by Shadow Pokémon cards? Why?

Say, there have been Generations I-VIII Dark and Light Pokémon cards that had been released for the Team Rocket, Neo Destiny and Team Rocket Returns TCG sets, plus for promos. However, I’m just wanting to know if Dark and Light Pokémon cards will be replaced by Shadow Pokémon cards for Pokémon card variants for the Pokémon TCG series? Why? Please let me know, thanks.
